THANK YOU TORONTO !!
What a show. Incredible, non stop adrenalin !! And the Torontonians, got it right this time, were just unbelievable. They spurred us on and item after item just went like a bomb. This show is packaged so well that all credit should go to the managers for putting in a fantastic presentation. Such an overwhelming experience and all thanks to the prayers and good wishes of all you readers and fans. God looked after us he heard your prayers and He is truly great.
The venue sold out. We had to open the tiers to accommodate more people and the fire marshals and security had the time of their life keeping the vibrant crowds in their seats. The banners that went up from the vociferous crowds, the roar of appreciation with every move on stage and announcements was so up lifting.
I have seen it before and have been there. I am old and a veteran now on such experiences, but for the youngsters I felt proud and happy. A first for them and I hope one that continues for long. Each one of them so full of energy and confidence. Akshay brilliant as always, bringing the house down, Ritesh so lovable, the banners in the audience of ‘Ritesh you Rock’, ‘Bachchans we love you’, just kept popping up, Priety cute and confident, Vishal and Shekhar rocking the place, never ever seen this side of them, their favorite numbers from Om Shanti Om and Bluffmaster and so many other hit films creating a frenzy, Shiamak’s untiring dancers such a delight, their precision and energy so invigorating. The band, dynamite. Abhi and Ash in several of their hit songs, pumping up the audience into a riot of screams and shouts. Not a moment to breathe. It just kept coming wave after wave. So delighted.
Promoters from various other venues came in and informed us that New Jersey and New York are sold out. This is unique for Indian shows. And the enthusiasm on their faces is enough evidence.
I am however shocked and covered in disbelief at being privy personally to a design by certain sections of the media and the fraternity to bring down this show. To kill it, to malign and write it off. This is shameful and disgusting. I have on several occasions spoken of a bias that exists for no reason whatsoever, against us and on each occasion you my readers, have pleaded that I ignore them for greater dignity and character. But I am compelled to talk about it, dignity can take a walk for a while, because it has already started.
Hardly has the sun risen over last nights fantastic show and Vickey from Mumbai Mirror has smsed me, discrediting the sales for the show and quoting the price factor of tickets as reason, brought up most insensitively by a particular journalist in the press conference in Toronto on the eve of the show.
What they never mention and perhaps deliberately are the facts of the conference. Here they are. As soon as this journalist asked this question, he was booed by the rest of the media, an occurrence I have never witnessed before. And the moment his question was over another media member got up and castigated him for his insensivity. Yes, the pricing of the tickets has been mentioned in many of your responses. It has been unaffordable by some. But I do not dictate or control this. The promoters do. And indeed the instant this issue was brought up the promoter interrupted the question and informed the gathering that some immediate alterations had already been made to accommodate those that were finding the price steep. When considerations are being publicly announced at a press meet, you can gauge yourself how emphasis is being given to write the negative only and ignore the positive.
The remark made by the journalist was that the ‘tickets are priced high in order that the Bachchans can jangle their jewelry on stage’ ! A most repulsive remark and one that got instant rebuttal from the media.
(The question is not an original in any case. The Beatle John Lennon first used it in one of his concerts when he was provoking the audience to applaud. He had said ‘ the back seats and the tiers to clap their hands and the front rows to jangle their jewelry’. But it requires a certain honesty and integrity to acknowledge that, one not forthcoming from this journo.)
We are not here for the money. It is an opportunity for us to meet and greet our fans and provide them entertainment for a few hours. That is our wealth and our most prized jewelry. Nothing more. We want to put up a show that reflects the technical finesse and quality of any other in the western world and yes in order to do that a cost is involved. This is between the producers and the promoters, not us. I would be happy to do a concert free and have done so on many an occasion.
So all ye readers of blog and well wishers and fans, you are warned and asked to be prepared for negativity by design to come your way. Not just for the show. In other many aspects too. But you know something. So long as your trust and faith in us exists nothing will deter us. We will labor hard and work through our faults and continue to do so until we become deserving. Those that harbor ill feeling, those that connive, will never share the joy of achievement, the ecstasy of creativity and the adulation of those that love us. We feel blessed to have your affection and love. That is supreme for us. Nothing more.
We rest a while. Last night after the show we all gathered in my room, the cast and crew and production and back slapped and joked and laughed at all the back stage banter and happening. Sometimes that activity has a life of its own. It was a happy and content lot. And as I retired early to my bed I could for long hear their enthusiasm before sleep overtook me.
We travel to Trinidad today and perform there tomorrow night. Wonderful country. Relaxed, laid back, music in the air atmosphere. Fun loving people. Smiling, dancing, affectionate. But of that more later.
Felt honored and privileged to be here Toronto. Thank you. And thank you Mr Prime Minister of Canada for sending your emissary, the Secretary of State to convey your good wishes and welcome to our group. It was a rare distinction.
Long live the bloggers and respondents ! You will be the future, if not one already. An article in the London Times wrote a wonderful piece on how the blog will gradually sound the death knell for critics and critiques. I shall try and put it up once I get back to Mumbai. It argued that individuals having access to the net, will give their own interpretation and assessment of situations, events and creative expositions. The instant and vast spread of the internet will then be accessed by millions even before the morning paper and therefore it wondered, if by that time, an opinion not necessarily adhering to the journal in hand, had not already been made. It would therefore not be essential for a reader to be believe or be influenced by one single by line holder from print. Indeed it would have the option of putting greater faith on what came to it on the blog, perhaps because the bloggers intelligence and acumen in expressing his or her views would and could be more acceptable to the reader. i.e - EXIT CRITIC. FIND ANOTHER JOB !
I have drawn attention to this ever since I heard of the blog and ever since I started expressing myself. I am charmed and happy that the London Times shares similar thought and affection.
My love and admiration,
Amitabh Bachchan

Mr. Bachchan,
I knew the media would find something negative to write about. Anything to try and make your family look bad.
By all accounts the show was a huge success. I’ve been reading reviews online from those who attended and all have raved writing that it was a OUTSTANDING AND ROCKING NIGHT.
Love to your family.

Hello Sir,
Don’t really know how to address you, but I think that was appropriate. I am a die hard fan of your ever since I got senses…that would be around 7 or 8…now I am 40. Have seen just about all the movies for yours many number of time…over and over again…and still cannot get enough…I guess you already know what we die hard fans usually do!!!…ok won’t waste much time of yours.
I just wanted to know if it is really you that actually types in these blogs of yours…or is it one of your secretaries? I know that answer would probably be…”yes, it is me”. But, even if you do tell me that it is you…it would be kind of bit hard to believe and digest to think that you actually find time to jott down even one liners for yours fans.
To know that it is really you that types it in would mean the whole world to me…would be like…having seen you in person (never had the chance to…even on stage)…or shaking hands with you…or feeling that I am actually talking to the Man of the Mellenium…and he is actually sitting and reading/typing on the other end of this cable that connects my computer and yours….something similar….you know what I mean.
Anyways…just wanted you to know…Love you too much for what ever you stand for…Actor/Human/Dad/Husband/Man with Class/Man with dignity…won’t stop…got lots more…but you know it all…right? You are too much sir…just the best. I am just lucky that I have seen a man like you in my life….although I would also like to have been in another life when Mahatma Gandhi/Albert Einstien was also alive.
Finally…Good work Sir…Now/Then/Forever…

one word that describe the show…unforgettable…truly amazing..its an honour to see you live in action and performing at this age and making us all speechless…the energy was great and one thing i must say is that the dialogues that you delivered…especially the diwar …aaj tum khush to bahut honge…that was the moment for me for the show….i m truly satisfied with the price that i paid for…all rest of the crew was just simply mind blowing. akshay kumar also did a great act and engaged us all very well within the show. abhishek and aish were good to…shiamak has once again done a great job and provided the great choreography that we wanted to see….I also liked the fact that the show started right on time…or i should say 10 mins before time since kashif and splitz were out and started performing at 7:20 followed by ritesh…and yes..how can i forget vishal and shekhar for made us all dance on their hit numbers…this is the first show that i attend in my life and to see you and your family on stage is an honour for me and my wife…sir if you get a chance please do respond to me on provided email…one more thing…considering the fact the cost associated with the show, it truly justifies the prices that are on board…so dont care about what others have to say…you truly worth that…once again..thanks and have a great time during the rest of the tour…with love…Bhushan

Sir,
I am a regular reader on this blog and this comment is with altogether different purpose as such. But I am channelising this here as I have no other effective mechanism to reach you.
I am a HR Professional and have my own consulting firm in Mumbai serving few sizable corporates in Mumbai area.
I am associated with one NGO for past 15 years and we are doing noteworthy community work in the domain of Blood Transfusion and Medical Education around this act. By now, the trust has established 5 Blood Banks in Maharashtra and the latest one is being set up to serve most demanding urban society of the county, i.e. Mumbai. We are setting up State-of-the-Art Blood Bank at Bhandup. All these Blood Banks are run on Not for profit principle and work on 24×7 work schedule with highly dedicated workforce.
Although we have done quite some work in this area in given geography, there is lot to be done in Blood Transfusion Domain in terms of public awareness, education, 100% Voluntary Blood Donation scenario, bringing in best of the technology in this life saving vehicle of the society etc.
All this requires passion, dedication, and committment which we have gathered in our journey over decade now. If we add to this ‘APPEAL’ by virtue of association of bigger than life charachter such as your good self, the momentum and zeal generated in our work cannot be paralleled by any other resource.
With this perspective, with all respect, I propose to explore the possibility of your blessings for an inaugural ceremony of our Bhandup Blood Bank by virtue of having honor of Inaugurating the facility in your noble presence.
This will help us generate public awareness and support to a level where we can plan to take the momentum to revolutionise this realm of public health.
Kindly let us have your views on possibilities in this direction and oblige.
We would be eagerly waiting to present to you a detailed documentary of our work in this domain so far by way of presentation at your convenient venue and schedule.
Kind regards,
Sanjay Tathed

Dear Mr Bachchan
SOOOOOOO delighted the concert was an absolute triumph, and as thrilling as we all knew it would be. I am so happy I feel like celebrating just on your behalf. i had lit candles last night to send blessings to the show - I think I must do this for every concert now.
And responding to Jarek - 287 blog 86 - I too have studied Mr Bachchan’s eye colour intently in numerous films and photos. His eyes are one of his most delightful features - we could run an entire blog discussing which other are our favourites.
But returning to Those Eyes - it is my belief that they have very dark brown irises, with an outer ring of grey/blue. So unique and beautiful and utterly mesmerising. Perhaps Mr Bachchan will correct me if this description of the colour is inaccurate.
Love, and safe travels, Daisy

Mr.Bachchan,
I knew the show would be sold out and the crowds a frenzy. Hearing it from you, is delightful. I am so happy for you. I am not at all surprised that the tickets in other cities have been sold out too.
I read someplace that you even recited lines from Deewar and Kabhi Kabhie. Oh………………….how I wish you performed in my city or even closeby. We have total faith in you and trust you. Do not worry about mean spirited people. Kishore Kumar had a nice song in Amar Prem”Kuch to log Kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kahana”. We love you, Mr. Bachchan.
Good luck in Trinidad. I know you will not be disappointed as fans are rooting for you.

Hello Mr. Amitabh. I read in one of your previous posts that you’re having problems MoBloging. I have a suggestion. I’m sure you have a Nokia phone with GPRS activated, so I’d suggest that you use Opera Mini 4.1(http://operamini.com) for surfing the web and posting your blog entries. You’ll be surprised to see how easy it is to use the software. Its the best internet browser for mobile phones. I can safely say that its the best thing that ever happened to Mobile Internet. It also supports various platforms. I think, i got an idea from your previous posts that you’re quite enthusiastic about technology. I hope you try out Opera Mini. I swear you’ll love it!(and no, Opera doesn’t pay me. I’m just… shall we say, a fierce supporter of Opera)
PS: Just to let you know, I posted this comment using my Nokia 3110 classic mobile phone(which is just an ordinary JAVA phone) and used Opera Mini 4.1 to visit your blog. And your blog is very nice

Sir, I have made this request before and however kiddish it may sound, I am making it again. I am a big fan of VS music. Their album Bachna Ae Haseenon has been launched. Since you write so well, it would be a pleasure to read a blog written by you on their new album. All the tracks sound good specially Jogi Mahi, a song that Shekhar has sung himself. Pls listen in and let us know your thoughts. It will be such an honour for all theVS fans if you write your views on the album. I shall be delighted if you do write a few words and I shall remain your big fan even if you don’t.
All the best always Sir. And once again a big thank you to Big Adda for giving us a chance to interact with you.

Dear Amitabhji (GURUJI),
!! ABOUT THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR 2008 !!
Please consider Atlanta,GA location in USA because it is the biggest center for southeast USA and can cover all southeast states.
There are lots of Indians( and south Asians) in southeast USA and most concerts come here and always do well.
There is no nearby location for your concert. All locations are very far from here like New York,Atlantic City,Houston,Los Angeles,San Francisco, chicago etc.
So please consider Atlanta,GA,USA so the concert evenly spread out in the USA.
Not considering Atlanta,GA means you are missing out a big chunk of US audience.
I hope you will read this.
As always,

Hello Big B,
Nice to hear you are enjoying yourself in Toronto. Are you pretty busy. I have a nice little surprise planned for you.
Yes, i have been thinking of a foolproof way in which you can access this little screenplay i had written (you remember , the one i talked of a few posts back). Pls Pls don’t say no. No string attached, no legalities , nothing. I know u have seen a lot of no good dogonne jerks who try to take advantage of your informal and accessible nature. THIS IS NOT THE CASE HERE.
There will be a release document from my side available and a synopsis to begin with - no acknowledgement is required - i will ensure in the manner it is released requires no acknowledgement.
I do not expect anything at all. just your honest reaction - anything from “Bull Shit ! This sucks “… to ” Hmm… This is cool. “.
Its something close to my heart and of the drama genre. I heard you have asked us to help you name a movie… pls give this guy a chance to showcase a storyline to you … thats a next logical step.
Pls, Big B, its foolproof, you will love it , At worse as good bed time story and if u like it… there is chance of my seeing my dream on paper take wings ( i know i know, no promises , no regrets)…Even the process of getting it to you is like a crime thriller…
PS: And yes pls feel free to delete this post.

Yeah! Wippeeeeeeeeee!!!! Congraaaaaaaatttttttttsssssssss!!!!
So glad to hear the show went well.
I am sorry but I had to laugh at your comment about the negative comments made of the concert/tour. High ticket prices, bad press, etc. etc. You are too sweet to be true because I think you are probably the only person now left to ever believe the press! ha! ha! ha!
Yes, it is true, we are all intelligent enough to know what is being presented as factual and what is not. So clearly there is no need for you to keep defending yourself! But if you feel the need by all means do so. But try not to because it can make you sound as if you are defending/complaining too much and not allowing your fans/readers to use their own intelligence to decide for themselves, if you know what I mean. Can have a negative impact on you. So be careful…again only concern for you.
And it does not matter what is being said because the proof is in the pudding! And what a pudding you had last night! The way you describe it above, not only did it go off with a bang but a massive explosion!!! Well done you! Congrats!!!
Must end here. Attending a family function/party. Apparently I am needed so must assist as well as I can.
Glad to read this before I go and am so happy for you. And even happier to know that money was not the issue for doing the concert! So if you are free at any point I would like a solo performance on either the piano or the dhol accompanied by your singing of course. And of course free of charge! We don’t want bad publicity! Ha! ha! ha!
Again thrilled it all went well….
Sending love…

Mr Bachchan!
Love your blog and the magic you create with your written word. Congrats on the Toronto show being a hit, and I’m sure all the other shows will be the same!
Just a quick question, why are you not doing shows in some of the really big centers in the US? Like Atlanta, Washington DC, Dallas, etc. I’m from the Atlanta area and am so saddened and not being able to attend Unforgettable!
Best of luck!
Lots of Love to you, the entire Bachchan parivaar, and the cast and crew of the Unforgettable Tour!

Congratulations Mr. Bachchan .Sounds like the show was a grand success .
Re. the matter of ticket prices , I don’t think one can compare with prices from other shows like Celine Dion,Madonna etc because here you have not one but several mega stars so really one can argue that the price is rather cheap !!
Yes,it is unfair for a section of the press to be continually ‘ hounding ‘ you and your family . The fact of sold out performances must convince you that most of us pay no attention to this kind of stuff .Just keep on making movies like Black,Cheeni Kum and Ek Lavya and keep writing to us from your heart .
Frankly ,most of the times, the more I learn of personal lives of stars, the more boring they get. .In your case however, despite knowing so much about you, there is still an interest in knowing more.
So,here’s to you and your troupe , for a most successful rest of the tour.

Just one comment - if money is not really what you are all here for - and for you I can believe that - then why not donate the proceeds from the show to save the farmers who kill themselves because they cannot afford to make the Rs 10k to 20K yearly interest payments?

Hats off to you sir! While i’ve enjoyed reading most of your blogs, specially the ones about the filming of Aladin, I’d no intention of leaving a comment, for the only reason, why waste time on something that you won’t even read.
But i had to write this one, no matter whether you read it or not. SUCH Tremendous dedication! With the routine that you’ve just written about, writing would be the last thing on any lesser being’s mind! But you’ve done it everyday from day 1. Is that yet another reason- your unflagging involvement - in whatever you do that’s behind the legend that you are. Hats off, sir. God Bless you!

Hello Amitji,
I wish you would have come to Washington DC :(. Two events (New York and New Jersy) at such a close proximity but nothing in DC :(. Such a bad luck for me and many others (your fans) in this area… It was my life time dream to come to at least one of your shows. When I was a small kid, I used to listen to one of your show’s audio recording… something you did in Germany and thats how I got introduced to the song “Aao baccho aaj mai tumhe ek kahani sunata hu” and “are ye jina bhi koi jeena hai lalloooo!!!” was the best part of it which the kid in me will never forget.
May be I’ll be lucky next time you come around…. but please keep Washington DC in your list and gurantee… we will not dissappoint you (even if you just come on stage to show your face
)….

Dear Mr. B.,
“I am charmed and happy that the London Times shares similar thought and affection.”
And so do we all … share your opinion of the blog as shaper of the world. It’s communication, pure and simple, between one mind and another. Direct. Simple. Without editing or filtering. How would we ever have known you without it?
I can’t express this morning my joy at your tremendous success in Toronto. I knew it would be that way, but hearing you tell it with such an explosion of happiness makes me almost ready to cry with delight for you.
This morning I’m going to capture an opera from streaming audio … my friend Richard Troxell’s performance as Don Jose in “Carmen,” which I saw last fall, is being rebroadcast. Using a Mac version of a program called Wiretap, I’ll be able to keep it forever. Exciting as can be!
Aloha from Hawaii …

Why do you have to travel at this age to do this show?
You must have as the adge goes “been there..seen it” so many times by now…
(I have nothing against it, but I have had many travels and am well aware of the anxiety of broken and missing luggages not to mention the jet lags)
I have many questions….esp on your library..and will be asking you to choose a good short story book in your collection for me to read…

My Beloved,
May the King of all the worlds and heavens shower you with all the happiness from the seven heavens and above and may He always keep you in good health. Ameen.
‘….dignity can take a walk’….that was a classic line.
Bachchan Ji I cant wait for your London show. Ive got my tickets and like I said the other day Im going to jump on the stage and hug you….so watch out!!!
Im glad that you have said it in your own words that there is a ‘clever design’ against you and your family. Its clearly obvious to us all. Hopefully the perpetrators will rot in hell.
AmitJi a few years back there was a Benson and Hedges (cigarette brand) advertising campaign on massive billboards here in the UK. This particular brand prides itself with the ‘finest tobacco’. On the advert there was a picture of the cigarette box and next to it the word in bold capitals ‘EXPENSIVE’. Just beneath this were the words ‘WELL OF COURSE IT IS’.
Coming back to the concert….AMITABH BACHCHAN IS COMING!!! OBVIOUSLY ITS GONNA BE EXPENSIVE….WHY WOULDNT IT???
AmitJi ive missed my house’ monthly mortgage and debted myself to gain the tickets i have. I dnt regret it one bit. My Beloved is coming. Ive already had 6-7 dreams about the show. We danced in the last one to the song ‘ganga kinare wala’ and to ‘aaj mehnga hai sayyan rupaiya re’.
AmitJi please will you sing the latter song. Its my favourite. Also will you be singing ’son machli’?? These are rare gems and coming out your mouth will truly be Unforgettable.
Remember my words AmitJi….im gonna jump on the stage to hug you….lets see how alert your security is!!!
With all my love and affection

Dear Mr. Bachchan,
first of all lots of congratulations for the success of the show…we were sure you would rock Toronto, and are sure that you will rock the world. I am very happy for you, best wishes for the shows to come.
was waiting for this entry eagerly, i wanted to get your own thoughts and your own impressions about the show. one gets the feelings that we, your readers, are not only your fans who love watching you in movies, shows, but that we are also part of it. your success is that of us, your fans. so, thanks for sharing it with us.
yea, i agree with you, those critics should find something to do other than criticizing, and commenting, if they are not true to their task. actually readers would love to read first hand thoughts, comments and experiences rather than through a medium that might fail to convey the true intentions and ideas.
Mr. Bachchan, when one feels he needs to talk and break his silence, he should do. however, those who tended to ‘discredit’ the show have got the instant reply. the success of the show itself, the sold tickets in other places, and the comments of lots of people about it. these are powerful responses, and those that actually expose the biased and ‘discredited’ comments of the media.
Yes, we trust you, we believe in you, we love you. we enjoy it with you. we feel your worry, we feel your happiness, and we feel your excitement, and we enjoy sharing it with you. let those that ‘harbor ill feelings’ be eaten and destroyed by these feelings. and let us enjoy our life with you, and nourish our love.
again, i send my congratulations and my best wishes for the rest of the concerts. i don’t know if Egypt is amongst the countries that you will visit during the tour. i wish it would.
From Egypt a flying kiss to you,
with love,

Its good that you have retailated early and nipped the issue in the bud. The days of dignified silence are over cause back then there were people with some dignity but today there is none and if you take it lying back you will be hounded and your silence will be accepted as confirmation. In all the commotion we did get only a few lines of what happened in the show. If you could post some pictures it would be awesome. All the very best for the rest of the shows.

hi uncle amit…something i had written earlier for your interest!Especially in the context of what you have written…blogging can actually do away with the so called reporter…which in many ways would be fantastic! love as always…s.
A twenty four hour onslaught!
Imagine not being allowed a slip of the tongue, an off the cuff remark or even a second thought. Imagine just opening your mouth and millions of people around watching your every step, move and word. Imagine being somebody important, cornered and trapped, all the time. Imagine not being permitted to backtrack on an inadvertent slip.
Increasingly, the media has assumed a larger than life role. It has become bigger and more obnoxious than the people and events themselves. Anchors are constantly grilling people about the various implications of comments they have made and others have made, even before the vibrations created by the utterance of those words have stilled! If a politician says something non-committal like “no commentâ€, the anchor will aggressively steer the unwilling commentator to a corner, put words in his mouth and literally force some declaration or comment out of him. This is the ordinary, accepted pattern of news coverage today.
With the reporters having become stars themselves, their job is no longer limited to telling the news as it is but has widened in its scope to actually create news. Making waves by fanning the flames of controversy, creating a sensation, telling ‘stories’ that can compete with the entertainment channels, is a better description of what they are expected to do on a daily basis. Delicacy, restraint, sensitivity, responsibility, respect and finesse are qualities that have invariably been replaced by a hard nosed, callous aggression. While in-depth analysis and coverage is as enjoyable as it is thought provoking and insightful, do we really need an overdose of it?
I come back to the original point that news must be viewed as news and not entertainment. People usually do not substitute their entertainment channels for news. Were it not for the compelling demands of a twenty four hour channel to try and present the same news in a different manner, I’m sure that coverage would be far more responsible and sensible. It is silly to think that we can regress back to the good old days of DD with fixed time news! Of course we can’t. But we do have to find an elegant solution for this constant bid to create headline news!
This could perhaps be by laying greater emphasis on live ‘coverage’ as opposed to ‘reporting’. Watching our M.Ps live on T.V. would decidedly be more entertaining than a lot of soaps on air (!) Throwing open court cases for public viewing. Covering education in village schools, treatment and care in hospitals and progress in the thousands of government programmes that are underway could be interesting as well as informative. Allowing real life drama and events to unfurl on television instead of excessive analysis and petty bickering among news makers and reporters might just be a refreshing difference! Just let people on to what is happening around them in the country without skewing their perspective with the prejudice, sensibility and commentary of T.V. anchors…is that really asking for too much?!

Sir,
You do have a bone to pick with the media, don’t you? Admit it.
It’s good that you’ve done so. After the politicians & police the media people think that they are a law into themselves.
We need famous & articulate personalities like you ( and you are one of the rare few ) to take down these gossip mongers a few notches.
Saw two pictures on TOI today– One, Mrs. Jaya Bacchan being hassled by the media; - Two, Mrs Aishwarya Bacchan with a protective arm around her. That was good to see.

Thank you so much for a wonderful time at the Roger’s Centre. I was amazed at how well the show was put together and more importantly the magnificent performance you displayed while you danced the night away and sir please, please, please do not say you are old, because you rocked last night and with all due respect to the rest of the cast, you were by far the highlite of the evening. Thanks a lot for singing two verses of “Main Hoon Don” as requested a few weeks ago. I really, really, really appreciated it. It made my night and the dialogue recital sir, it was beautiful as always, especially from Deewaar. I was, however, suprised though that you did not sing “Mere Angne Mein”, which usually is your traditional ending to your concerts, but I am not complaining since I was satisfied. Finally, sir disregard the media’s attention on ticket prices. You are the exception to the rule no matter what the prices are set at. Have yourself a great world tour sir and keep coming back to Toronto for more, because I would love to see you again, I promise. Thank you.

I undertand your outburst sir. These media will never going to mend their ways. Since we trust directly you and not through these media now you should be rest assured. Concentrate on the show and give us your rocking performance.
One thing ..all those people who are complaining about the ticket price…should know its Not Mr.Amitabh Bachchan who decides the price for ticket but the promotor decides it .

Amit ji
I think the main photo on your website shows you in a tad too much flattering manner considering your modesty . Perhaps a family photo could be better or a single phota

Dear Mr.Bachchan,
Congratulations yet again for the marvelous show all of you have put up in Toronto!!!Though i am physically not present there to experience the same, but through the virtue of your description it seems to be a extravaganza of entertainment.Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences even during such hectic work schedules…….
I know Amitabh Bachchan from the time i know almost A,B,C…..as my entire family is a die-hard admirer of your on screen and off-screen presence, and i am no exception to that.Starting from Saat Hindustani to Sarkar Raj,u have sent shivers down my spine with heart rendering performances everytime i have seen you on 70mm.
I absolutely admire and respect you for all that you have done and achieved,so please dont indulge your precious time and energy in such mindless pleasures of even adressing media and clarifying their doubts, let them actually take a walk of life and go to hell, and stay there till hell freezes over………..All The Best,
With Lots of Love and Best Wishes,
Mainak

VERY IMPORTANT … VERY IMPORTANT…. VERY IMPORTANT…..VERY IMPORTANT
Mr. Bachchan,
You write …
We are not here for the money. It is an opportunity for us to meet and greet our fans and provide them entertainment for a few hours. That is our wealth and our most prized jewelry. Nothing more. We want to put up a show that reflects the technical finesse and quality of any other in the western world and yes in order to do that a cost is involved. This is between the producers and the promoters, not us. I would be happy to do a concert free and have done so on many an occasion.
————————————
Its indeed very touching and moving that an Icon like you is really such a simple and a down to earth individual. I would like to draw your kind attention to an opportunity to contribute to a noble charitable event while you are in the USA.
The local gurdwara in Las Vegas is in dire need of funds for expansion. I have pledged to help by raising $ 150,000.00 to $ 200,000.00 for the gurdwara by giving the proceeds of my business ( Realtor in Las Vegas) to the gurdwara renovation and extension fund. This by itself will not be enough.
The idea I have, is to have a social event one evening during your tour here in las vegas and invite about 5000 people and use the proceeds of this event to go to the gurdwara renovation and extension fund and in return we could also perhaps put the donation under the unforgettable team 2008 name.
This idea did cross my mind just now and I’m sure a much simpler event one evening during your tour to US can be worked out here in Las Vegas for this noble cause in a short notice.
If this interests you and your group - Please have somebody call me at 702-280-7203 to work out the specifics and we the Las Vegas Indian fraternity would be very grateful for your participation.
thanks,
ash mirchandani

LET me tell u something
NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD AND U WILL NOT PERFORM FOR FREE.
The ticket price is high, not ur fault BUT the people who paid money are STUPID.
I just watch films innit, can’t see anything in concerts anyway.
