Hospitality plays a key role in every magnificent event. Hospitality management is a crucial aspect in event management. In formal occasions, old-fashioned grandeur or in any other functions hospitality plays a vital role because this is what people talk about even after the occasion/function is over. The guests like the warm and pleasant hospitality.

Polite hospitality is what the people of high society expect during their presence in any supreme occasions or even during their long and usually boring flights. Air hosts/hostesses are rigorously trained in these hospitality jobs. People who spend huge amounts for their flights expect a good service by flight attendants and air hostesses during their flights.

Hospitality is what matters at the end. In planning an event, no matter how much effort has been put in for that event if the hospitality is planned and monitored properly the whole planning and the effort put in goes in vain. At the end of the event i.e. during the main event, hospitality is what that should be properly taken care of. The other area where hospitality is need is; in the hospital. This has to be provided by the doctors, mainly by the nurses in treating their patients properly. Hospitable environment is what makes patients like the hospital and more importantly it makes them feel happy without any nagging.

There are many cases or situations in the past where a patient’s disease is cured not by the English medicines but by the proper care (hospitality) and nurturing by the hospital ward members. So, here the question is why the hospitality more important? Is it because people expect it to be treated politely? Or is it because people feel it comfortable to have a hospitable environment? Or is it because people like to be treated like royals? What ever may be the reason is, it is for the benefit of the person who is treated hospitably.

Even in hotels, the waiters treat you hospitably. If they don’t, one would never visit that hotel again in their life. Such is the power of hospitality. People even go generous in giving away money for the waiters if they are treated properly or hospitably to say it in terse manner. There are many industries which provide hospitality jobs
and they are hospitals, airlines, hotel et al. But these three are the major industries whose business mainly depends on the hospitality they provide to their customers.
