Thank you for that wonderful response and your kind words’

August 3rd, 2009 by Diana Hayden

I would love to reply to your messages on Michael Jackson, those for and against him, but I’m afraid that discussion could be never ending.

I would just like to say I

wrote what I felt and appreciate the time you have taken to respond!

I shall try and write to you regularly but I must confess I am an absolute slacker when it comes to writing!

I’m glad to tell you though that there is a new show on TV that I have done which started airing yesterday. Its called Fact Universal Teen Pageant. It is a Reality TV Show of a Beauty Pageant for teenagr girls and I am the mentor to the girls. It started yesterday and is on every Saturday & Sunday at 8.30pm on 9X… Please do watch it. I would love your feedback! But please be gentle :) As much as I am a tough cookie I am also very sensitive! ;) Lots of Love, Diana

I hope you have found peace Michael.

I start this letter apologizing to both you and the Bigadda team. I was supposed to write on this blog for some time now, but just didn’t get down to it…No excuse, just once big sincere apology!

I write this blog with a sad and heavy heart because as you all know we have lost one of the greatest musicians not just of our era but of all time!

I woke up the other morning to the news of Michael Jackson death and honestly tears rolled down my face! The last time I remember that happening for a public figure was when as a teenager I’d heard the news of Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.

Michael Jackson death feels a personal loss to many of us because his music was an intrinsic part of our growing years…..I feel like a chunk of my childhood has been snatched away from me.

I remember, like yesterday, how I used to sit on the floor with a 2 in 1 tape recorder before me and a ledger in my lap – the ledger being my personalized ‘song  book’……pressing play and pause umpteen number of times  I would write down the lyrics of all his songs, or what I thought the words were!

I remember how hard we all tried to do the moon-walk and the wave! And those who managed it were the ‘good Dancers’!

20 years have gone by since Beat It and Thriller, we once again have teenagers doing the moon-walk and the wave! I wish he‘d lived for his last tour of UK because I strongly believe that would have been a rejuvenation of Michael Jackson‘s music. A rejuvenation not just by us who loved and grew up on his music but by today’s teenagers as well! And not just out of respect for whom he was but because he is still the Best at what they think is ‘Cool’ today - the Break Dance!

Michael Jackson, the magnitude of your contribution to the music world was so immense that you will live on forever through your Music!

We mourn your death and I hope you have found peace Michael.

Social Networking

Social networking sites such as BIGADDA.com have emerged as a very powerful medium to stay connected with people all over the world. So it’s only logical for me to take to blogging to reach out to my fans and let them see the real me, who is not just a celebrity but a normal human being as well. What I especially love about this is that this way they can also communicate with me! I believe it’s a great way to engage with fans and get feedback from them which would only help me better myself.
