This is my first blog, thinking hard what should I write, then thought should I write something about what recently is happening in my life. Currently have shifted to a new place where I was totally a stranger a month back. After leaving previous company which I miss till date badly after working for almost 2 and half years. Leaving company was not that easy for me, why I dont know? But ya had to move on.
So after moving out of the company and coming over here, I started comparing about the city I come from (Mumbai) and city I have arrived (Bangalore). Mumbai is like crazy, with crazy people who work day and night to survie in Mumbai and people who have a true spirit to fight anything coming their way, only thing is no one stands by their side (this is what I think). Life is so fast that you wont know where the time passed went away.
In that sense Bangalore is quite slow where people are in no hurry for anything and want to live for themselves and their closeby. Climate is awesome here comparing to Mumbai. Life starts here by 9.30 in the morning and stops by 9 in the night while in Mumbai, we see people running by 6 in the morning till late midnight. Travelling here is not that hectic but ya not that good too. Autos are too costly. Mumbai survies on its life line that is local trains and BEST buses. Millions of people depends on it and if they stop, then its one of the biggest public holiday for mumbaikars.
About people not so co-operative might be due to language barriers where maximum people dont understand other languages that easily. About the money wise both are equal or say Bangalore is much costly then mumbai due to IT industry ( not blaming them but everyone knows they are ready to pay).
Rest about me starting in Bangalore, first day was just to settle down and searching over the internet for rental apartments or independent houses. Journey was supposed to begin very next day with a place where some friend was supposedĀ to show me some apartment which I did not like it as it was small in my sense, though I stayed in Mumbai in half the size of that apartment. The difference was that was ours and this I was supposed to rent. Whole day went by checking the area and knowing that place and finally was dropped from my list. Next day started with the phone calls to some owners for the rent and proper addresses and how to reach there and so on.
Days started passing and my joining date was coming near. In four or five days I went Koramangala, R. T. nagar, Indira Nagar, BTM layout, Kadgaspura (Sorry for spelling mistakes). I had almost travelled on N number of buses and walked almost 20 - 25 kms in five days. Frustration was building as I would like the place but rent was out of reach and the rent were OK, the places were last to choose where I would stay. I had seen some places where they told me that its 3 bedroom independent house with 2 master bedroom and affordable rent. I was happy that finally my search was going to be over but then found out that 2 master bedrooms shared same toilet which has two doors opening from either of the bedroom. Could not control laughing there itself (sorry guys).
Finally now am settled with a good apartmentĀ at Tippsandara with a quite high rent for me but had to sacrifice somewhere which I choosed on rent and not on the type of apartment. The search was almost over after a month me landing over here. Thanks to the company for providing me guesthouse more than the days I had asked for and great thanks to the people I know here for helping me out to settle here.
To be continued in my next blog …..
